Darren Hayes

Darren Hayes "Insatiable" is the first single from the debut solo offering from Darren Hayes, formerly one-half of Australian duo Savage Garden, who split up two years ago. On the track, Hayes sings: "Turn the lights down low/Take it off, let me show/my love for you, insatiable."
Hayes' long locks so shocked his U.S. record label that they shelved the original $666 million video for the song. As a result, Hayes decided to go back to his "old" image, but Sony in the U.S. still claimed that no one would be able to identify with his new look in the video. Being the conformist that he is, Hayes decided to sport the short-haired look again. As for the original clip, it's been trashed and you won't ever get to see it unless you know someone at the label, know Darren Hayes or it shows up on some bootleg DVD at some point. This new version of the video is the one that was made to make the label happy. |
