The World Wasn't Prepared for Savage Garden

Darren Hayes, ex-vocalist of the pop rock group Savage Garden, ensured that the band has no chance of getting together again. "The world wasnīt prepared for a third album of Savage Garden" said the singer and songwriter.

In his visit to Mexico city, where he made a presentation for the media and his fans, to promote the release of his solo album, SPIN, Hayes confirmed that the bandīs split was not because he was bored of it,completely opposite, eventhough it took a year for him to get used to the idea. Thatīs why he said that with this new material he reached the chance of reflecting his feelings towards music, which reflects the "power of entertainment".

" I hope that people do think about Savage Garden when they hear my record; in this record there is not a big change neither in music or the songs, eventhough the difference is that now I have to manage with businesses,because now Iīm in charge of it" he said. The singer that released his single "Insatiable" last March, discarded the fact of recording in Spanish, " I donīt think I would be good at it,besides it would be impolite for the audince that got that language", but he showed his respect for the singers that make this job looking the famous "crossover". The perfomer of the 12 songs that build up his record, showed his agree to the idea of giving himself the opportunity of collaborating with Killie Minogue, while he thinks that is better to keep distance with heros that are already here, like Michael Jackson.
