Does It Bother You Now? |
Do you remember when we told you about the
Savage Garden split and revealed that Darren was going to come back as a solo artist?
Good, as the moment has arrived! The first single from Spin, Insatiable has been played on
the radio for some weeks, and it will be on sale March 19th. Before this happens and before Darren arrives in Mexico in April, let us fill you in.... After the seperation.... How long has it been since the 5th October 2001, when it was made official that Savage Garden had split? Enough time for Darren Hayes to prepare his come-back as a solo artist and to begin to get used to the idea of facing the world on his own. The first fruit from his recent return as solo artist was heard in December, when Insatiable started to be played, a fantastic ballad, both the contents of the song and Darren's voice are hooking. Co-written and co-produced by Walter Afanasieff, the Australian says that: I did this for/by myself, It's one of my favourite songs, that I have ever written. I'm really impressed with the good response from the public'. An album full of Love *can't read the question well but i think it says 'what can we expect from Spin?'* "It's all about love, it talks about romance, real connections, fate, everything. It's very sexy and honest. I feel that I was born to make this record. I am very grateful for the last few years of my life, for the music I made with Daniel, but now I have to take my own road." The fans aren't going to be listening to a totally different Darren, as the new stage of his career - "is an natural extension of Savage Garden, it's me relaxed and more happy." *can't read all the question...something about blonde hair...* Apart from returning with his music, Darren left behind his image as now he is a blonde! In reality, he has always been a natural blonde, but when he was in Savage Garden he had black hair. What was the reaction of his fans? They Love It! ...and you? Caption above the pic: they're not getting back together! ..... His Big Return/Come-back Album: Spin on sale 19th March Firs single : Insatiable, which debuted at # 7 in Mexico. Other songs: *lists the songs on spin* Recorded in: San Francisco, and was co-produced by Walter A. Co-written: 35 songs, "I wrote so many songs because I wanted to be sure that the record would be as honest as poss and a sincere representation of my personality...my likes and my musical style.
